About Us

Brandywine Community Church is a inter-denominational, Christ-Centered, Bible-based Christian Church started in 1991 through the combined efforts of Brookville Road Community Church and Community Church of Greenwood.

Brandywine is a place to find, hope, healing and belonging. We are a casual, welcoming church with practical bible teaching, contemporary worship, and a focus on loving our community. We put a high priority on our children and youth ministries and real-word classes for adults through the week. Two signature ministries are the WellSpring Center (mental health wellness) and Celebrate Recovery.

We believe there is one GOD eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative word of God, without error

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and His soon return to Earth in power and glory

We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit, that He indwells believers, enabling them to live godly lives when surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ

We believe that Man was created in the image of God, but because of sin, was alienated from God. Only through faith, repentance, and trusting in Christ alone for salvation can that alienation be removed.
